Your Hair Makeover Results
Wednesday 19th October was the big day for our 3 lucky makeover winners, and I met them early on a bright and blustery Bristol day.
My creative team got underway consulting with the winners Elena Pilipenko, Catriona Wojcik and Suzannah Hastings to find out what looks they wanted.
Suzannah had mid length brown hair with tight curls - after consultation, I started her makeover by dying her hair red throughout with subtle highlights of copper. Next job was to blow dry the hair straight and finish off the look by adding smooth, loose curls. I used Designline's Frizz Free Serum and Satin Smooth which are great for adding volume and shine. The transformation was out of this world - Suzannah looked like a different person and had a new swing in her step. When she arrived she was quiet and reserved, but one makeover later and she posed for the camera like a pro.
Our Style Wars winner Chris was looking after Catriona who had long, tight brunette curls. Chris started by cutting a lot off the back but Catriona was cool as a cucumber. Chris went for an understated bob with added volume. He pre-lighted sections of hair with multi-tonal mocha colours for warmth and finished off the style by blow drying the hair straight. Chris used Designline Figi Therapy Styling Oil and Get It Pressed Flat Iron Spray to deal with the tight curls. Catriona looked positively radiant and was beaming from ear to ear. With the addition of a stunning dress and gorgeous make up she was ready for her 'after' photoshoot.
Charlie from Supercuts Northampton was re-styling Elena. Charlie decided to emphasise Elena's blonde colour by keeping it natural with caramels and darker blondes to give warmth and freshen up her colour. Charlie finished off the look by popping some loose curls through the hair, using Designline Thermal Boost Spray for added volume and Figi Therapy Styling Oil to give it that extra shine. Elena's look had been refreshed and she looked stunning - a natural in front of the camera.
